Does online video call work well for this?
Yes absolutely. After a long time serving clients across the world, we have found this to be the most convenient method of working together with equal success to in-person sessions.
We've helped people who have never used online video call before and once they are online it's as natural for them now as a telephone call. This means that you too can remove your phobia from the comfort of your own home. The techniques I use which includes subconscious pattern work, translates perfectly to online delivery. In fact, many clients prefer the comfort of being in their own space, especially when working with anxiety. You'll need a private, quiet space where you can focus without interruption, and a stable internet connection.
What can I expect during the sessions?

The sessions together are friendly and relaxed. It provides you a safe space for self-reflection and expression of what is really going on for you on the inside.
I will ask you questions to help you discover more about yourself and the current challenge which you are struggling with whilst guiding you towards clarity.

But other therapy hasn't helped in the past?
"Keep knocking on doors until the right one opens"
Many of my clients have paid for treatment which has been unsuccessful in the past such as CBT. Talking therapy. Hypnotherapy. NLP. amongst other phobia therapies.
In fact, numerous people have come to us after seeing 6 or more therapists before they finally get the results they were searching for.
My approach is gentle and highly effective for achieving quick person-centred results. I work with both your cognitive thoughts, your subconscious beliefs and physical body reactions in your nervous system. This approach does not utilise the classical hypnotherapy approach of "close your eyes, relax and imagine yourself walking down some stairs..." approach, which often does not work for phobias.
When can I expect results?
Most people experience positive results within the first 90 minutes of working together and the rest of the sessions together are used for any fine-tuning which may be required.
The kind of results you can expect are a sense of relief and a release of tension and anxiety. It's not uncommon for our clients to move from a place of fear around the specific threat to feeling curious and even excited for the next time they see it again.
Usually, this takes place with penny-dropping moments, new realisations and discovering more about yourself which shift old fear-based beliefs.

I've tried CBT/counselling before and it didn't work. How is this different?
Traditional therapy focuses on managing thoughts and gradual exposure. My approach works at the nervous system level - rewiring the automatic patterns and responses that create the phobia in the first place.
We're not just talking about your fear or forcing you to face it. We're changing how your brain and body respond at a subconscious level. That's why clients often see shifts in weeks rather than months or years.
Will I have to do exposure therapy or look at triggering content?
Absolutely not. I don't use traditional exposure therapy, flooding, or show you images/videos of people being sick.
We work at the nervous system and subconscious level using gentle techniques that don't require you to white-knuckle through panic or force yourself into distressing situations.
When we do address specific fears, it's through carefully paced methods that work with your system, not against it.
How quickly will I see results?
Most clients notice a shift by the end of their first session in reduced anxiety, better sleep, less intrusive thoughts, or managing a situation they'd previously have avoided slightly better. Any shift will let us know that something is starting to take effect and we will work together to continue to strengthen this experience. Deeper transformation builds progressively. By sessions 4-6, many clients typically report significant life changes: eating out without panic, travelling confidently, or handling stomach sensations without spiralling. Some patterns shift quickly, others take consistent work. But you should absolutely see tangible progress within the first month.
I'm worried I'm not 'ready' yet. Should I wait?
If you're waiting to feel ready, you'll be waiting forever. Anxiety doesn't give permission.
You don't need to be at a certain point or have your life sorted first. You just need to be willing to commit to the process and do the work.

Not at all. Many of my most successful clients have struggled with emetophobia for decades.
